Leatherworkers by birth and artisans by love since 1968. At number 8 Via Carlo D'Adda, in one of the most prolific and lively corners of a creative and ever-moving Milan, stands a workshop full of history and passion. A place where skilful hands tailor made accessories to the dreams of those who wear them. The hands are those of Sandrino and Gianluca Davoli, a father and son united by their love for leatherworking, who have been involved in craftsmanship in designer fashion for years and boast collaborations with excellent names in Fashion, such as Fratelli Rossetti, Blumarine and Bally. It was 1950 when Sandrino, very young, began to get his hands on leather and learn the art of craftsmanship, specializing with time and love in the production of bags and belts. The year 1968 marked for him the turning point towards an important dream: in one of the most active and famous areas of Milan, via Marghera, he opened his first store - Le Borse di Davoli - which quickly became an iconic store. Given the success of Davoli-branded creations, Sandrino then decided in the 1980s to open an artisanal business, a real workshop where the sensory experience of the raw material, the care and precision of every small gesture became the protagonists. Bags, belts and especially the first leather bracelets decorated with bezels, rhinestones and studs are the distinctive elements of her creativity. In a short time his handcrafted items enter the most prestigious Italian and foreign showrooms: Davoli's belts in those years even land in the Galeries Lafayette in Paris and Harrods stores in London.

Sandrino's son Gianluca also inherited passion and talent from his father and thus decided to join him in this long history of love for uniqueness and attention to detail. Each of their creations has always stood out for research, insight and craftsmanship totally made in Italy, becoming in fact a completely timeless evergreen. Meeting people who still after years wear one of their bags or belts, designed and sewn by father and son, is really something unique!
